BOSTON (WBZ) ―

The FBI is marking the 13th anniversary of Whitey Bulger's disappearance with a reminder that the hunt does continue.

For the past year, the FBI has been spanning the globe, looking for the fugitive Boston mobster and his longtime girlfriend Catherine Greig.

One of the most recent reported sightings happened in Sicily back in April. The FBI released video of a man thought to be Bugler strolling through the streets with a woman believed to be Greig. (Read the full story and watch the video.)

After the sighting, Italian police apprehended Robert Dowdy, a tourist from Rhode Island. To Italian police, Dowdy apparently looked a little too much like the man in the video.

The person in the video still has not been identified, but the FBI says it may be South Boston's most famous fugitive gangster.

Bulger, now 78-years old, is the former leader of Boston's notorious Winter Hill Gang and FBI informant who fled in 1995 after his FBI handler tipped him off that he was about to be indicted on racketeering charges.

Bulger, who is also wanted in connection with 19 murders, is currently on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. There is a $1 million reward for information leading directly to his arrest.

According to the FBI, they hope the 13th anniversary of his disappearance will prove to be an unlucky number for Bulger.
