Disabled Marine Vet Drowns In Whitman Pond

WHITMAN (WBZ) ― A disabled Marine veteran was found dead in a Whitman pond over the weekend.

Police were called to Hobart's Pond Saturday night when someone saw a man go under while swimming.

Divers found the body of Sean Condon, 42, Sunday morning. He had apparently drowned. Police said his death was not suspicious.

According to the Patriot Ledger, Condon served in the first Gulf War.
