Stamm, owner of Starving Artists Movers in Concord, employs 15-17 full- and part-time workers over the course of a year. His company would be mandated to provide three paid sick days under a bill being considered by state lawmakers. Last summer, a draft plan was released that identified 27 parks that produce no income that the state seemed to indicate a willingness to lease or sell. Many of the targeted parks are so small they don't charge an entrance fee. After a public outcry, state officials withdrew the draft for further work, saying it was misinterpreted and that they never intended to sell the parks.
