Firefighter Injured In Worcester Blaze

WORCESTER (WBZ) ― A Worcester firefighter was injured in a blaze Friday night at a multi-family home on Ives Street.

The three-alarm fire was put out, but a firefighter working on the third floor fell through to the first floor when the floors gave out. He was conscious when he was transported to an area hospital. His condition was unknown Friday night.

No one else was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
