Northborough Woman Killed In Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON (WBZ) ― A young woman from Northborough has been killed in Washington, D.C.

Alice Swanson, 22, was hit by a garbage truck as she was riding her bike to work Tuesday morning.

She had just started to work for a non-profit that promotes international education.

Swanson graduated from Amherst College in 2007.

No charges have been filed.
