Second Teen Expelled After Cell Phone Video Fight

HOLDEN, Mass. (AP) ― Two teenage boys allegedly involved in a a fight near Wachusett Regional High School which was posted on the Internet have been expelled.

A 15-year-old freshmen from Holden was expelled Tuesday by the school committee after a closed-door session.

Superintendent of School Thomas Pandiscio says the panel also moved to expel a 16-year-old boy who spent part of his junior year at Wachusett Regional after being admitted under the school choice program.

The fight last month involved a group of teenagers who used a pipe to beat two students. It was taped on a cell phone, and police used the video to help identify four teenagers who are facing assault and battery charges.
