Human Bones Identified As Missing Fitchburg Woman

FITCHBURG (WBZ) ― The skeletal remains of a woman who has been missing for two years were found in some woods last Friday in Fitchburg.

The Worcester District Attorney's Office said teenagers stumbled across the remains in the woods between Water Street and Duck Mill Road. They were identified Tuesday as those of Sharon Norris who went missing in August of 2006.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of Norris' death.
