Teen Charged In Northborough Shopping Center Fire

NORTHBOROUGH (WBZ) ― A teenager is now charged in connection with a devastating fire that destroyed the Northborough Shopping Center last spring.

According to the MetroWest Daily News, Nicholas Coutre, 18, of Shrewsbury, was arrested late Sunday night.

He's charged with willful malicious burning of a building, breaking and entering into a building in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, breaking into a depository, and larceny from a building.

The March 25 fire destroyed six businesses and reportedly left $2 million in damage.
