2 Killed In Crash On Route 190

WEST BOYLSTON (AP) ― State police say a male driver and a female passenger were killed when the car they were in went out of control and crashed on Rt. 190 in West Boylston.

The accident happened at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 5.

State police say the car struck the jersey barrier on the left side of the roadway, then careened across the road and slammed into the guardrail on the opposite side.

The names of the two people who died have not been released.

Investigators say neither person was wearing a seat belt and that speed appears to have been a factor in the crash.
