2 Teens Accused Of Shooting At Bus In Worcester
WORCESTER (AP) ―
Worcester police say two 16-year-old boys have been charged with using a pellet gun to shoot at a bus packed with passengers.
Detective Sgt. Thomas Radula tells theĀ
Telegram & Gazette that police identified one suspect by questioning people in the neighborhood. He was interviewed Thursday night with his father present and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250 and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The other suspect was arrested after a search of his home.
Their names were not released because they are juveniles.
As many as 40 passengers were on the Worcester Regional Transit Authority bus Monday when several pellets struck, breaking the windshield. No one was seriously hurt, but one man said he was struck by shard of glass.
