1 U.S. Soldier Killed In Iraq Roadside Bombing

BAGHDAD (AP) ― The U.S. military says an American soldier has died from wounds sustained when his vehicle was destroyed in a roadside bombing.

The statement Tuesday said the blast happened Monday night at about 9:30 p.m.

Eleven U.S. soldiers have been reported killed in Iraq since Sunday.

At least 4,024 members of the U.S. military have died since the war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.
