Man Stabs Woman With Fork During Break-Up Fight

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) ― A Portsmouth man is under arrest after police say he used a fork to stab a women who was trying to break up with him.

Alain Brown, 45, was ordered jailed Friday on $50,000 bail and three criminal charges. Authorities allege Brown stabbed the woman in the shoulder with the fork, knocked a phone out of her hand as she tried to call police and pushed the woman to the ground during an encounter the previous day.

According to a police report, the woman said the stabbing happened after she went to Brown's house to try to end their relationship. The woman reportedly told police Brown stabbed her with the fork several times.
