Patriots Tickets Increase In Price For 2008 Season

BOSTON (WBZ) ― For the first time in years, tickets to go to a Patriots game at Gillette are going up.

This latest increase is the first time the Patriots have bumped up tickets prices since the end of the 2004 season, according to team representatives.

The following are the ticket prices for the 2008 season:

Lower Level Sideline - $169 (compared to $125 last year)
Lower Level Corner/End Zone - $117
Mezzanine Level Corner/End Zone - $117
Upper Level Sideline - $89
Upper Level Corner (Rows 1-7) - $89
Upper Level Corner (Rows 8-26) - $65
Standing Room - $49 (Only ticket price that did not change.)

There will be eight regular season games held at Gillette. The Patriots will host three AFC East division rivals -- Buffalo, Miami and the New York Jets -- Denver and Kansas City of the AFC West, two teams from the NFC west -- Arizona and St. Louis -- and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A limited number of tickets have been reserved for individual games and will go on sale this spring.

Patriots season ticket holders will be sent renewal invoices starting next week.
