Tickets to President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration in Washington in January are some of the hottest items around.
Each member of congress gets about 200 or less, and many of them are being swamped with requests.
The free tickets have not even been printed yet, but some ads to buy the tickets were showing up online for as much as $10,000.
Those online ads have been taken down because the tickets were phony.
Bay State Congressman William Delahunt says he understands why there's such great interest.
"I think people recognize that this is a momentous event in American history and just want to be there, just want to even be in the city to experience the mood, the atmosphere, and the hope," Delahunt said.
More than a million people are expected to attend. While you need a ticket to the inauguration itself, anyone can attend the parade route.
