BOSTON (WBZ) ― The First-in-the-nation Primary is only one day away, and many voters in New Hampshire are getting ready to cast their ballots.

Candidates from both parties are covering the Granite State, hoping to woo as many undecided voters as possible before the big day.

Registered Voters: Click here to view the number of registered voters by county. As of March 2007, more than 850,000 people were registered in the state. Election day registration is allowed in New Hampshire.

Voting Systems: Find out how you will be casting your ballot by clicking here. According to eletiononline.com, New Hampshire uses optical scan voting systems, hand-counted ballots and a vote by phone system to accommodate all voters.

Those looking to cast an absentee ballot have no later than January 8 to submit their vote. After that time, clerks will not be allowed to accept mailed in absentee ballots.

First-time New Hampshire voters are required to show a photo or non-photo id, if they registered by mail and do not provide and id verification card with their application. All other voters do not need to provide identification.

To register at a polling place on Tuesday, voters will need to bring a passport, a birth certificate or naturalization papers. To verify an address, bring a New Hampshire state-issued identification card, such as a driver's license and a current utility or phone bill. Without these documents, voters will need to sign a sworn affidavit.
