Red Sox Scout Arrested In Florida

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL. (WBZ) ― A Red Sox scout was arrested in Florida Monday for allegedly exposing himself to young girls.

Jesse Levis, 39, of Pennsylvania, faces two felony counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts in the presence of children under 16.

Police in Port St. Lucie say Levis fondled himself while standing in front of a second story window of his hotel room. The room overlooked a pool where at least two teenage girls claimed to see him.

Levis told police he was just getting dressed.

According to the Red Sox Web site, Levis was hired by the Red Sox in November 2006, after working as a scout for the Milwaukee Brewers covering the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.
