The Obamas will attend 10 Official Inaugural Balls in the evening. Traditionally, at each ball the President speaks briefly, followed by a dance with the First Lady.
Commander-in-Chief's Ball, National Building Museum. Those invited will included wounded warriors, Purple Heart Recipients, families of fallen heroes, and spouses of deployed military.
Neighborhood Inaugural Ball, featuring Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, JAY-Z, Alicia Keys, Shakira, and Stevie Wonder. Walter Washington Convention Center.
President Obama Home States Ball, Walter Washington Convention Center. Illinois and Hawaii invited guests.
