By contract, wbztv.com is only allowed to show the Boston Marathon LIVE on computers within New England.

It is important to note that some computers physically located within New England may technically appear to be located outside of New England. The geo-coding system is based on the IP address of your computer, which is generated by your Internet provider, or if you are at work, by your company.

If you are in Boston, but your company is based out of New York, for example, the IP address of your computer may be a New York IP address.

This is technically beyond our control.

You will still be able to follow the progress of the race on Twitter, watch archived video clips of the marathon as well as our archived Finish Line Cam On-Demand.
