Timeline: Framed By The Boston FBI

Joe Salvati, Peter Limone, Henry Tameleo and Louis Greco were all framed for murder by former FBI informant Joe "the Animal" Barboza. Collectivley, the men spent more than 100 years in prison for a crime they did not commit. A federal judge ordered the government to pay the men and their families more than $100 million.

Joseph Salvati served 29 years in prison for a murder he did not commit. An investigation found he was framed by the FBI. A federal judge has now awarded Salvati, his family, and three other men convicted with him, more than $100 million in damages.
