July 29 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Amber is overjoyed when she and Daniel wake up after having spent the night together but is crushed when she asks him about moving back in.  Chloe photo-shops her first sonogram and changes the date. Chloe gives Lily the sonogram of the baby but Lily rips it up. Later, Chloe stops by with a birthday cake and Amber realizes that it is her birthday.  Chloe explains to Amber that she is pregnant with Cane's child and suggests that Amber get pregnant to hold onto Daniel. Phyllis visits Amber at the penthouse and promises to stay out of her relationship with Daniel.  Daniel decides that him and Amber should go back to being just friends. Jeff and Gloria realize that, with the scandal, Jabot stock will plummet and they can buy it up much easier.  Gloria decides that she needs to get on Brad's good side to get inside information on Jabot. Jeff secretly buys Jabot stock for him and Gloria, as well as for himself.  Meanwhile, Gloria buys stock in Jabot under her own name as well. Kay confronts Jill and Brad at Jabot but before they can get into anything Nikki arrives, showing Jill that she isn't going anywhere. Paul learns that the car accident may not have been an accident after all.  Later, Heather arrives at the crash site and Paul informs her that David killed Ji Min. Paul expalins Heather everything he knows abut David and Walter and Heather recognizes Walter from the gala.  Heather manages to I.D. the limo driver as the man Walter was talking to in the parking lot at the gala. Nikki asks Paul to continue his investigation on Walter but to not say anything to Victor.  However, unwittingly, J.T. tells Victor that Walter is responsible for the accident and for Sabrina's condition. Victoria continues to feel guilty about the way she treated Sabrina and she decides she has to see Sabrina before it's too late.  Nick informs Phyllis that they are staying on the ranch.  Sabrina wakes up and explains to Victor that she wants to see Victoria. Sabrina and Victoria are overcome with emotion as they remember their past together and finally reconnect.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Ridge is an emotional mess as he sits by his unconscious father's bedside, worried if Eric will ever wake up.  Bridget and Ridge are moved when Brooke leads them in prayer asking for a miracle for their father.   Marcus' suspicions grow when he learns of how involved Owen has become in Donna's life.  When Marcus confronts Owen about his motives, Owen confesses that he has feelings for Donna.  Donna is conflicted when Marcus gives her strong advice regarding Owen.

AS THE WORLD TURNS

Brad drags Parker out of Liberty's room after catching him with a condom. He takes him to the police station where Parker fears he will be arrested. Janet arrives to bring Jack his lunch and hears what happened. Jack sees Parker is mortified and takes him home while Janet goes to talk to Liberty. Later, Jack tells Janet her subtle approach didn't work and Brad is right, the kids can't see each other anymore. Janet thinks Jack is blaming her and a fight ensues. Meanwhile, Brad returns home with Ugo, a bodyguard for Liberty who is going to keep watch, day and night. After Brad and Katie go, Liberty tries to get away from Ugo but to no avail. Later, Parker and Liberty talk to each other and promise they're not going to let their parents tell them what to do.

Holden convinces Lily to go pick up the girls at camp with him. At the same time, Jack, who is supposed to pick up Sage, tells Carly he's got a situation with Parker and she has to go. Carly arrives first and tries to get Sage to hurry, but Holden and Lily get there before they can leave. When the kids are off. Winkie sees Holden with Carly and Lily and jokes about his two wives, spilling to Lily that they shared a cabin on visitor's day. Lily is livid, gets the girls and drives off without Holden. Carly drives him home and its awkward with Sage in the car. Later, Holden confronts Lily but Lily, having heard from Faith about finding Holden and Carly on the floor together says he has a lot of nerve and tells him to get out.

Henry tries to convince Vienna not to leave him by proposing. She refuses him, says he hasn't changes but she has. She tells him she's going back to where she came from to find herself. She leaves and Henry is bereft.

GUIDING LIGHT

After sleeping in her car, Daisy uses the school gym to shower and gets a call from Grady. She lies to him about where she's been. Marina discovers Daisy living in her car and offers her a place to stay. Reva hears a crash outside and runs to the window to find Grady standing next to an overturned garbage can staring at her with an evil look in his eye. She goes outside and follows him into the woods but cannot find him anywhere. Grady sneaks up on Daisy and tells her that they don't need to worry about Reva, he has a plan to make her leave them alone.  Reva slips in the woods while searching for Grady and hurts her ankle. She calls Daisy from the hospital and urges her to come immediately, interrupting a meeting between her and Grady. When Daisy arrives at the hospital, she finds Reva with a sprained ankle and Reva tells her about Grady stalking her. She urges Daisy to wake up before it's too late.

Cyrus waits for Marina, who tells him to stay away from her. Marina tells Cyrus she's not quitting Grady's case. Mallet tells Marina he saw her with Cyrus. Cyrus tells Grady he was playing Marina to help the case. Mallet suggests to Reva she should postpone the wedding but she isn't afraid of Grady. Mallet questions Grady about his involvement in Reva's injury.

Frank asks Natalia out on a date and they have a conversation about Eleni.
