August 7 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Paul, J.T., Nick and Victoria search frantically for any clue to where Victor has gone. Paul notices that Victor's safe is open and empty. They all wonder if there was foul play involved with Victor's disappearance. Nick and Adam end up in a shouting match when each tries to prove that they know Victor better. Paul and J.T. realize that Victor may be going after Walter. Jana brings flowers to Sabrina's grave.

Later, Victoria says a final farewell to her friend. Kay asks Nikki if she took a drink. Nikki admits to Kay that she didn't drink but instead dumped David's ashes in a pile of manure. Nikki advises Kay that it is time for her to resign from Jabot. Nick and Victoria explain to Nikki that Victor is missing and won't answer his phone. Nikki is hopeful that he will answer for her. However, Victor's cell phone starts ringing and reveals Victor left it at Sabrina's grave.

Neil stops by Cane and Lily's house to find out why they aren't engaged yet. Cane orders a rush on getting the DNA samples so that he and Lily can move on with their lives. Later, the lab tech arrives and takes samples from both Cane and Chloe. At the coffeehouse, Chloe informs Jana that she and Cane are getting married, except that Cane doesn't know it yet. Nearby, Neil is floored by Adam's audacity when Adam states that in Victor's absence, he is going to run Newman Enterprises. Later, Jana lets it slip to Neil that Chloe is pregnant and Cane may be the father. Cane asks Lily to marry him and she accepts. 

At the jail, Kevin refuses to let Michael back out of meeting his father. Later, Michael comes face to face with Lowell and asks him why he left him as a child. Lowell assures Michael it was the hardest thing he ever had to do. While talking to Lowell, something he says makes Michael weary of the man. Michael brings up Gloria and it becomes clear that Lowell has never met her. Michael demands to know who the imposter is. Meanwhile, Kevin calls Jana to tell her about the plans he has made for their beach wedding. The fake Lowell informs Michael that he and Michael's real father switched identities and that the real Lowell has been living as Richard Wells for the last fifteen years. Michael asks where his father is but Lowell replies that he has no idea.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

After much discussion, Katie and Nick agree to not to make a big deal of the pregnancy until they have more information. Nick believes that Katie's pregnancy is a miracle. Bridget is forced to inform Ridge and Brooke the reality of Eric's deteriorating condition and suggests that the family prepare for the worst. Ridge is overwhelmed with grief at the thought of life without Eric and being the one to make a decision about his father's fate.

AS THE WORLD TURNS

Luke convinces Holden to try once more with Lily. He goes to see her and finds her with Mike who is doing construction on the house. When Lily sees Holden she pretends that she and Mike are more than just friends. Mike realizes and asks her not to put him in the middle of her situation with Holden. Later, Holden goes to Carly and asks her to tell Mike to back off. It's awkward but Carly does and Mike assures her he is just being a friend to Lily. When Lily comes to have lunch with him, he tells her he doesn't want to get involved and convinces her that Holden doesn't want a divorce. Meanwhile, Carly tells Holden she did what he asked and Holden hugs her as Lily arrives to see.

Carly asks Henry to spend more time at Metro and he says it will be no problem. Bonnie hears and wonders what Vienna will say. Henry admits Vienna has left him and Bonnie is shocked. Later, Bonnie gets money from a client and admits to Henry she doesn't like what she's become and wishes she could quit. Henry offers her a job helping him at Metro and she agrees.

Meg feels better since she's not wearing the necklace and tells ghostly Sofie she won't kill Paul. But when she dresses she puts the necklace on and feels paranoid again. When Paul comes to take her to the doctor, she threatens him with the gun. Paul gets it away from her and calls 911. Meg is brought to the hospital in a straight jacket. Paul aches for Meg while Sofie appears to Meg again and tells her she should have killed Paul when she has the chance.

GUIDING LIGHT

Ashlee talks about weight loss in her latest video blog. Daisy and Ashlee meet up to try and ease the tension between them but end up in another disagreement about Daisy and Grady. Olivia tells Ashlee that Emma and her friends have been watching her video blogs.

Buzz comforts Natalia, who is missing Rafe. Alan calls Natalia and tells her that he senses Rafe may be in some kind of danger and Gus wants Rafe to come home. Natalia is excited for Rafe's return but Beth is irritated by Alan's visions. As Natalia is about to give Peyton her bottle, Olivia sees and asks if she could feed her. They comfort each other while they miss their children. Natalia decides to tell Olivia about Alan's vision but Olivia has a hard time putting much faith into his visions. Olivia stops Natalia when she tries to call Rafe overseas. Jeffrey and Olivia comfort each other over missing Ava. Later, Jeffrey tries to distract himself with work. When Beth arrives to meet Alan at the lawyer's office, Jeffrey arrives and harasses her about Alan and the upcoming trial. Jeffrey blurts out that he wants justice for 'Ava' instead of saying 'Tammy'. Beth tries to talk to Jeffrey about Ava and the baby but Jeffrey lashes out at her. He tells her Alan will not get away with it.

Grady spots Frank watching him from a distance. Daisy runs into Grady and they argue about the conversation he overheard her have with Cyrus. Frank sees Daisy and Grady and picks a fight which opens an awkward situation where Daisy is expected to choose a side. Frank is overwhelmed with anger from the argument and tells Daisy that he will be watching closely. When Frank leaves, Daisy and Grady run off to break her car out of the impound lot. Daisy and Grady con their way into getting Daisy's car out of the lot by tricking the guard. Daisy admits to Grady that she still doesn't know what she is going to say in court. Jeffrey sees them talking and when she tries to leave she can't avoid Jeffrey. Jeffrey lectures Daisy about lying and threatens that he will charge Daisy for perjury if she gets in the way of Grady going to prison. Upon Grady and Alan's meeting, Grady intends to convince Alan to help him with his trial but soon realizes that Alan is acting very strange and accuses him of trying to plead insanity during the trial.
