August 14 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

At Indigo, Jana's celebration continues, while Chloe tries to find out if Kay knows about her baby and Amber tries not to sulk about Daniel's date with Colleen. Just then the D.J. calls Daniel and Colleen to the stage to sing karaoke and Amber is shocked. Lily informs Cane she is moving out. Cane begs Lily to look at him as she packs her things but Neil and Devon arrive to stand by Lily. Cane tries to convince Lilly that they can be together, regardless of the baby, but Lily asks him not to make any promises to her.

Amber decides to move the bachelorette party to her place. Meanwhile, Kevin asks Michael to forget about Lowell, at least for his wedding. Michael and Kevin share a close moment as brothers when Kevin thanks Michael for walking Jana down the aisle. Later, Kevin arrives at the bachelorette party disguised as fortuneteller. Later, he takes off his disguise and starts stripping for Jana.

Later, as Devon and Ana sing karaoke, Colleen and Daniel laugh and talk, Lily returns Cane's keys, Kevin continues to strip for Jana, and Tyra seems to be troubled about something. Chloe goes to Cane's house to try and get an answer from him about whether or not he is going to step up for his child. Meanwhile, Ana tries to cheer Lily up and Tyra confesses to Neil that Ana is Devon's sister, not his cousin. Daniel lets himself into the penthouse and finds Amber asleep on the couch. Daniel is reminded that life without her isn't as much fun.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Beth comes to Katie's aid just in time to save her from having to divulge her secret to Bridget. Unaware of the true reason that Katie is turning down her request to be Jake's Godmom, Bridget comes to her own conclusions and asks Nick for assistance. Marcus and Steffy pledge their love for each other and decide to take their relationship to the next level. Nick recalls fond memories that cause him to become confused about his life.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Lily is giving Mike breakfast when Faith walks in, sensing something. Mike gets a call, telling him to come to the farm for an emergency meeting and Lily and Faith go along. Holden is there, along with Paul, Meg and Emma and Neal tells them that his company is pulling out of the development because of the toxic soil. Emma is distressed, fearing she will lose her house. While the situation is being dealt with, Holden confronts Lily about what's going on between her and Mike, Lily admits they slept together. They fight and Holden tells Lily he will sign the separation agreement but there's no turning back. Later, Holden brings her the papers and though Lily pretends she is fine, she later cries in Mike's arms.

Paul offers to step in when he hears that Neal is pulling out of the development deal. Meg worries he's taking on too much but Paul insists he wants to do it for her. Paul gets Barbara to co-sign a loan. Emma is reluctant to accept Paul's help but Meg says she should respect him for it. Paul comes through and asks Mike to stay on to manage the project. Emma is pleased and Meg is proud.

Carly goes with Jack to pick up JJ at camp. They have a nice time together but then Carly remembers being with Holden. Jack asks her about her feelings for Holden and Cary admits she's confused and feeling bad about herself. Jack is kind and tells her she's still desirable. Carly hugs him and JJ sees, but they tell him not to misinterpret it. Back at Milltown, Carly offers Jack a beer and they seem to be getting along when Neal arrives. Jack goes and Neal tells Carly he's leaving town, guesses their timing wasn't right.


GUIDING LIGHT

Lizzie can't get herself out of bed to face the day after all she's lost. Lillian is concerned when Lizzie says that she can't live like this anymore, without Sarah.

Alan is thrilled when he sees the newspaper headline that reads "not guilty" and thanks Gus. Natalia asks Alan if he has any information on Rafe. Alan says that Gus might want Rafe free so that he can help him, and Gus wants Alan to have his company back.

Josh shows up at Reva's unannounced with breakfast and she is uninterested. He tells her to come back home so he can take care of her but she tells him she has set a wedding date with Jeffrey, two weeks away. Josh leaves only so he can have more time to start plotting to get her back. Alan tells a very heated Jeffrey that perhaps he is free because he is supposed to be. Natalia tries to convince Olivia that there is a reason these things are happening, it's all part of a bigger plan. Olivia realizes that Natalia has talked to Alan again. Olivia starts yelling about Alan when Emma arrives and Natalia quickly covers.

Billy laughs at a determined Josh as he thinks over how he's rebuilding his relationship with Reva. Jeffrey is focused on work when Reva tells him that she's picked a wedding date, in two weeks. She assures him that it has nothing to do with Josh, that they just need something positive to look forward to. Alan tells Lizzie about his plans to get the mansion and company back but she makes it known that all she cares about is getting Sarah back. Lizzie visits Reva in search of an address or number for Jonathan so she can get Sarah back. Reva tells Lizzie that she does not think its safe enough for Sarah and Jonathan to come home now that Alan is free.

Natalia inquires to Jeffrey about Rafe's punishment if he were to return and Jeffrey assures her that they would be lenient. Olivia tells Alan about her frustrations towards his visions and admits that she doesn't want to believe in them. Lizzie tells Alan she needs to talk and Olivia excuses herself. Lizzie tells Alan that she is willing to listen to him again to get Sarah back. He admits that he made up the L.A. address because he didn't want to disappoint her and she is crushed. Josh practices his sermon but can't concentrate so he calls Billy to hang out. Reva tells Billy she's getting married in two weeks and needs his help to prevent Josh from causing trouble. Jeffrey leaves a message for Reva, telling her he's dropped the Alan case and that they can get married in two weeks just as Lizzie offers to testify against Alan so she can bring Sarah home.
