August 27 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Jack gives an interview to a reporter and confirms that he wants complete control over Restless Style. Jack continues to push the feud to help sell magazines. Phyllis is steaming when she hears Sharon on the phone with Nick, talking to him as if they were still married. When Noah overhears Jack mouthing off about Nick, he rips into Jack. Sharon demands that this fighting has to stop now. Later, Jack apologizes to Noah.

Nick learns that Adam has taken over Newman Enterprises. A Mexican authority shows Nick and Nikki a picture of the body they found. Nikki and Nick inform the authorities that the body isn't Victor. Nikki recognizes the man as Walter but doesn't say anything to anyone, including Nick. Jack gives the reporter a comment on Victor's death that could come back to haunt him.

Meanwhile, Nikki tells Nick it is time for them to go home. As Nick sleeps on the plane, Nikki gives the pilot a note for Nick, just as she slips off. Karen sees Neil is hurting over losing his job at Newman Enterprises at Ana's going away party. Tyra announces to everyone that she is moving to New Hampshire with Ana. Later, Neil asks Tyra not to move, and Karen witnesses an intense moment between the two.

Cane is furious when he sees that Chloe has bought new furniture for the baby, assuming she used his money. Chloe puts him in his place when she proves that she paid for everything herself. Later, Cane asks Chloe to wait to announce their marriage for awhile. Lily is thrown when Cane shows up. Cane says goodbye to Tyra and Ana and on his way out reveals to Lily that he and Chloe were married but that he still loves her. Everyone is extremely emotional as they say good bye to Ana and Tyra.

Later, Devon explains to Neil that he is staying in school, but changing his major to music. At the coffeehouse, Cane admits to Lily that he is leaving Chloe as soon as his parental rights are established. Cane asks if Lily will wait for him.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Tensions rise when Donna and Stephanie make accusations and threats against each other. When confronting Owen about Eric's poisoning, Ridge receives some unexpected words of advice. Marcus doesn't know if he should believe Owen's warnings about Donna being in danger. While home alone, Donna has a terrifying encounter with a masked intruder.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Paul and Meg go to the Lakeview to have breakfast with Barbara and tell her the news about their pregnancy. With Meg out of earshot, Paul tells Barbara he couldn't take her advice to tell Meg the truth about his money problems because she's pregnant and that Derek is threatening him. Barbara then calls her banker and leaves word that she wants to withdraw her money so she can give it to Paul to pay off Derek. When they join Meg, Paul is upset to find Derek is with her and that he has given her a baby gift. Meg doesn't understand why Paul is so rude. Meg feels a twinge and Paul takes her to the hospital then while the doctor does tests, he returns to Barbara. The banker comes and tells Barbara the money she wants was transferred out of her account last week. Barbara is distraught and the banker says they will investigate, but the money is gone. Barbara and Paul wonder if Derek or Decker could have done it. Paul goes to get Meg from the hospital and is told she needs to have bed rest. He takes her home, then gets on the computer. While he's doing research into what happened to Barbara, James Stenbeck's face appears and he says hello, son. Paul is shocked.

Carly gets Brad, Katie, Jack and Janet to come have a conference about the kids. Even though Brad initially objects, the parents decide they need to trust the kids and stop interfering. After they go home, Brad admits to Katie he feels like a failure. Katie comforts him and they make love. Meanwhile, Jack and Janet also go home and get closer. When Carly finds Janet's left her sunglasses behind, she wants to return them, but realizes Jack and Janet are together and doesn't want to interfere. Meanwhile, Liberty tells Parker she just wants to be friends. He's upset but Jack talks to him and he feels better. Liberty goes to a school picnic where Leo gives her brownies he says he got from Java as an apology. Liberty eats the brownies then when Parker arrives, she starts acting crazy and dancing sexily with him. When she sees Leo is watching, she drags Parker off to the woods.


GUIDING LIGHT


Wednesday, August 27, 2008 (Episode #15497) Daisy and Grady lie in bed after making love but she can't get Rafe off her mind. While talking to Frank, Rafe starts to realize Grady may have set him up. Frank informs Rafe that he's facing 5-10 years after what happened at the cottage. Frank gives Rafe his one phone call and advises him to call a lawyer. Meanwhile, Grady is bothered that Daisy wants to go check on Rafe. Just when she is about to leave, she gets a phone call from an unrecognizable voice calling for Grady. Grady answers to Rafe on the other line, requesting that he come to meet him in jail. Grady covers and tells Daisy that it was someone inquiring about buying his motorcycle then leaves to go to meet Rafe.

At the police station, Natalia confirms to Daisy that she did not turn in Rafe. She tells Daisy that's she can get her in to see Rafe but Daisy decides not to. She tells Natalie that she'll do whatever is best for Rafe, even if it means staying away from him. Natalia and Daisy receive bad news from Rafe's lawyer. Grady arrives to meet Rafe and Rafe accuses him of setting him up. At first Grady denies it but later slips. Grady tells Rafe that he will make sure he can never get close to Daisy.

Later, Grady admits to Daisy that Rafe called him and wanted to see him. He tells her about the meeting and Daisy assures him once more that she only wants to be with him. Billy tells Josh it's time to take off his gloves and get Reva back. Reva lashes out at Jeffrey for being so indecisive about the wedding date. Jeffrey insists they get married in two days. They decide to go to their pre-wedding counselor and are shocked when they see Josh walk in and learn that he is filling in for the day.

Reva wants to leave but Jeffrey says he is up for the challenge. During counseling, Josh questions Jeffrey's love for Reva and comments on their lack of history together. Reva tells Josh that she has made her decision and it is final. She admits that since her cancer, she now lives her life differently. Jeffrey and Reva leave counseling feeling accomplished while Josh is confident that Jeffrey and Reva don't stand a chance. Later, Lillian visits a distracted Reva and Reva emotionally admits that she just found a mass.
