September 29 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Ashley realizes that Jack is up to something when Traci joins them in New York. Jack admits to them that he is working on getting controlling interest in Jabot and he needs their proxies. Ashley refuses to give Jack her proxy until he reveals who his silent partner is. Jack brings in Billy to help persuade his sisters.

Later, Jeff runs into Kay and learns from her that she turned Gloria down when she asked to buy some of her Jabot stock. Jeff confronts Gloria about lying to him again and warns her that it had better be the last time.

At the coffeehouse, Kay makes Jeff and Gloria suspicious when she has a senior moment and mistakes Jeff for his brother William. At Jabot, Cane is annoyed when Jill breezes in announcing her return and interrupts his meeting. After the meeting, Jill disagrees with some of Cane's decisions to launch a new cosmetics line.

Nick, Victoria and Nikki go to the ranch with Detective Wallace with a warrant to search the house for Victor. However, there is no sign of him. Victoria shows Nick some opened mail and Nick sees that Victor never read his letter.

Later, Michael admits to Nick that he knows where Victor is but refuses to
reveal it to anyone. Victoria and Nikki look at Sabrina's ultrasound photo and feel the weight of their guilt for Victor's loss. Victor lands in a mystery location. Lauren is stunned to learn that Eden has never been to school before.

Meanwhile, River fires Michael as his attorney. Lauren offers to help a frightened Eden with a little advice about teenagers. Michael gives River the harsh reality that it doesn't matter whether he is innocent or not, it only matters how they mount his defense. Later, Michael gets fed up with River when he seemingly choices fighting for a cause rather than fighting to stay with his daughter.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

While celebrating their new relationship, Katie is ecstatic when Nick suggests that she move in with him and Jack. Despite his feelings towards Ridge, Nick agrees to allow him and Brooke to legally be instrumental in raising Jack. Beth worries that Katie's relationship with Nick will cause friction within the family. Katie assures her mother that everything will work out the way it is supposed to.

AS THE WORLD TURNS

After a night on the town, Katie and Mike wake up in a hotel room in Chicago. Katie worries what she will tell Brad. Meanwhile, Brad wonders where Kate is to Janet and finds out from work that she's in Chicago. When he gets to the Chicago hotel room, he finds her and a towel-clad Mike. Fearing the worst, Brad leaves and Katie follows him home. She tries to apologize, insisting nothing happened; she just needed to cool off. Later, Dallas calls Brad to the police station to say that Leo's parents dropped the charges and Brad's free to go. Brad and Katie embrace, promising not to let anything get between them.

Off of Derek's information, Paul arrives at the beach cottage but there is no sign of Meg. But his suspicions are confirmed that she was there when he recognizes her perfume. He also finds a locket that belonged to Jennifer, which could only mean that Dusty was there too and he fears the worst. James prods Paul into believing Meg and Dusty were there for a romantic tryst and Paul heads
out, determined to find his wife. He goes along the beach, finally seeing a light from the lighthouse. He goes there only to find Meg and Dusty asleep in each other's arms, having crawled into the lighthouse for warmth and to send a distress signal.

At the police station, Jack gets a text apparently from Meg that she's on an island called Mattamoi. He goes there looking for her, but it's a setup, and the boatman he hires to take him around attempts to drown him. At the same time, Carly finds out from Derek that Jack has been set up and rushes out to find him. She comes upon Jack just as he is thrown into the water. She pulls him onto the dock and gives him mouth-to-mouth.

GUIDING LIGHT

Dinah and Grady plan his next meeting with Lizzie while Rick gives Lizzie, Beth ad Bill an update on Alan's condition. Bill tells Lizzie that Alan is faking being an invalid. Later, Lizzie complains to Beth that Bill is using Alan's condition to his advantage. Lizzie then leaves to meet with a consultant. At Towers, Dinah and Grady wait for Lizzie to arrive. Dinah leaves before Lizzie sees her with Grady. Grady heads over to Lizzie and attempts to seduce her but it doesn't work and she leaves. Grady is then stunned when he sees Daisy on the news for capturing the drug dealer. Dinah, meanwhile, tempts Bill by suggesting she tip off the shareholders about Alan and Lizzie and turn the company in his favor. Bill rejects this idea but is affected by Dinah's comment that as long as he has Lizzie around, he won't have it in him to do what needs to be done. Later, after Lizzie is again made jealous of Bill's pretty physical therapist, she sees hot Grady at the bar and slides up next to him.

Remy and Felicia are at Harley's house and Remy tells her that he doesn't want the house. He also doesn't want to go to medical school. Mel says she doesn't want the house either. Felicia understands and says she will talk to Clayton. Later, Remy looks at an application for the MCATs but decides not to take it. Remy and Clayton are working out at the Gym. Clayton tells Remy that he and Felicia will let him make his own choices. Remy decides to take the MCAT application after all.

Mallet is standing between Marina and Trey's gun and tells Marina that he loves her. Marina starts bickering with him about it and Trey explodes on them saying they are not taking him seriously. Mallet steps towards Trey and Daisy stabs her sharpened key from Grady into Trey's leg. He drops the gun and Mallet retains him. At the police station, Frank, Marina and Mallet argue about Daisy's role in the task force. Marina defends Daisy and suggests they train her. Grady shows up at the station-- worried about Daisy. Meanwhile, Marina asks Mallet if he was serious when he said he loved her. He playfully says that it was a life and death situation and he can't be held responsible for what he said.
