NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Cane pushes Chloe to make things right with Esther. Esther insists to Kay that it is time to see the doctor. Esther shows Kay the ultrasound photo Cane sent her and is hurt that Chloe didn't do it herself. Chloe overhears their conversation and explains to Esther that she will never get over being shipped off to boarding school. Esther explains to Chloe why she sent her to boarding school and how much she loves her. Chloe is moved. Later, Chloe admits to Esther that she swore off love and Esther wants to know who broke her heart.

Esther helps Chloe open up and she admits that she is still in love with her
mystery man. Lily explains to Cane that she is resigning as the Fresh Face of Jabot. Later, Cane pleads with Lily not to leave Jabot. As Lily is considering it, she sees that his screensaver is a picture of his ultrasound. Cane is heartbroken when Lily walks away from Jabot and him. Later, Cane asks Colleen to become the new Fresh Face of Jabot.

Gloria enlists Kevin's help in a plan to get close to Kay. At Jabot, Kay wonders if Kevin is hitting on her when he is extra friendly. Kevin tries to trip Kay up but she doesn't miss a beat. Jack makes a compelling argument to his siblings to help him regain control of Jabot but Ashley is still very reluctant. Later, Traci and Billy agree to give Jack their
proxies but only if he reveals his silent partner. Jack reveals that he has been funding Billy's lifestyle in Hong Kong and in return he wants Billy to return to Genoa City permanently. Later, Jack insists to Billy that he return to Jabot to get him inside information. John warns Jack to be wary of trusting Billy. Meanwhile, Billy surprises Jill at Jabot.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

After seeing the interaction between Brooke and Nick, Ridge begins to worry if he made the right decision about agreeing to joint custody of Jack. Owen admits to Stephanie what really happened between him and Donna. Donna witnesses Owen and Stephanie together and becomes suspicious about their motives towards her. Ridge reminds Katie of Nick's past of infidelity and advises her to keep her eyes open regarding Brooke. Katie refuses to believe that Nick and Brooke having a child together will affect their current relationships.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Carly revives Jack and tells him he stepped into Stenbeck's trap. They set off to find Meg and discover the cottage on the beach. Stenbeck arrives and knocks Jack out as the boatman chloroforms Carly. Carly and Jack wake up and find themselves set adrift. Jack's in very bad shape from shock and loss of blood. Eventually they drift to shore and Carly insists on getting Jack to a hospital.

Meanwhile, jealous Paul, having found Dusty and Meg in the lighthouse, threatens Dusty with a gun. Dusty and Meg try to talk him down when James arrives and encourages Paul to shoot. Dusty tries to get Paul to realize his father is playing him and that Stenbeck is Paul's real enemy. Dusty reveals his gun and while Stenbeck struggles to get it, Paul takes a shot at Stenbeck, clipping Dusty instead and sending James over the railing of the lighthouse to his death. Paul rushes down to him and demands an answer about everything James has done to him. James wishes his son good luck and then passes. The police arrive along with Barbara. Meg takes Dusty to the hospital while Paul is put in restraints. James appears to Paul one last time to say he failed to prove he is worthy of being the Stenbeck heir and Paul is led away.

Alison goes to get a checkup because she's trying to get pregnant. At the same time, Emily tells Susan she's going to get her tubes tied but doesn't tell Casey. Dani finds out that Emily is having surgery and she tells Casey who gets worried and goes to find Emily.

Meanwhile Alison finds out she has PID which will harm her ability to get pregnant. When she finds out it is probably sexually transmitted, she is very upset and runs into Chris who consoles her. Aaron waits for Ali at home and when she doesn't show up, he goes to the hospital. He is upset to find out Ali's news and upset that she told Chris before Aaron. Later Aaron tries to be positive but Alison turns away.

Meanwhile Casey finds Emily and learns she's having her tubes tied. He's very upset and tries to change her mind. Believing he has affected her decision, he tells Dani everything will be all right. At the same time, Emily tells the doctor to go ahead with the surgery.


GUIDING LIGHT

Cassie is with Cyrus when she gets a call from Josh saying they found Shayne. Cassie asks Cyrus to go to a movie, but not as a date. He accepts and they decide to make it a night that they can talk about anyone, without judgment. While out, Cassie admits it is tough living in Reva's shadow and that she would love to see Josh's face if he found out about the stereo. Cyrus jokes that they should go knock off a jewelry store together. Cassie and Cyrus share an awkward moment, not sure if they should kiss goodnight. They decide to shake hands.

Marina asks Mallet to watch Peyton while she runs to the store. Mallet and Peyton play with a toy but the buttons don't work. Marina tells Mallet where to find the batteries and the baby safety list. Mallet replaces the Duracell batteries in Peyton's toy. He also replaces the batteries in the CO2 detector-an important safety measure. Marina finds Mallet asleep with a baby monitor next to him. He wakes up and wants to show Marina how they safety proofed the place. Marina realizes Mallet has used up all the batteries and makes him go get more.

Lizzie leaves Grady to make a phone call while Dinah gives Grady money and tells him to keep up the good work. Meanwhile, Susie appears at the top of Bill's stairs wearing only his pajama top. Bill smiles to himself and pulls out his cell to call Alexandra to ask her to send Lizzie back to the house. Alexandra informs Bill that Lizzie is on a hot date. Lizzie, meanwhile makes a call to a tabloid to tip them off that she and Grady are at Towers. Dinah sees it online and tells Bill. Bill tells Susie that they are going out. Lizzie tries to stall with Grady to make sure a photographer captures them together. When a photographer arrives, Grady smashes his camera and threatens him. Lizzie pays for the broken camera and drags Grady out of the room. Grady is excited, thinking he is going home with Lizzie, but when Beth tells Lizzie that Alan wants to see her, she goes to the hospital. Bill and Susie enter and when Bill doesn't see Lizzie he sends Susie home and sits down at the bar. Grady sits down next to him and tries to get under his skin while he talks about Lizzie. Bill tells him that there is a word for guys like Grady: pet. Grady then goes to Dinah, grabs her, tells her he isn't anyone's pet and kisses her.

At the hospital, Alan's smile fades when Beth mentions Gus and he asks her to leave the room. Alexandra, Rick and Beth decide it is a good idea to show him some pictures, but to omit any of Gus. As Alan looks at pictures of family, he says that most would have loved it if he died. But when he sees a picture of Lizzie he softens and says, "Not all of them." Alan says he knows whom he can rely on now: Lizzie. Lizzie arrives at the hospital and Alan tells her that he is very proud of her. Lizzie tells Alan about her business partnership with Bill. She loves Bill and wants to have a family with him. She sees Bill in the doorway, shuts the door and returns to Alan's side.
