GUIDING LIGHT

Lizzie assures Alan that she and Bill are purely business partners. Bill calls Decker to tell him Lizzie is too preoccupied with Alan to make it to the meeting. They decide to meet without her. Lizzie argues that she is capable of dealing with Decker too. Meanwhile, Alan, dressed in his own clothes, exits the hospital looking for excitement. Lizzie notices Alan's bed is empty and calls out for him. Alan runs into Daisy and says he's trying to get back into the world. Daisy leads him off. Lizzie frantically asks the nurse where Alan is but the nurse doesn't know. Lizzie rushes up to Bill and Decker. She informs them she's looking for Alan. Decker reschedules their meeting because he wants Bill to help Lizzie.

Dinah and Grady have a moment of passion until Dinah pulls away. Grady wants Dinah to give him incentive to break up Lizzie and Bill. Dinah tells Grady to save his energy for Lizzie and if he's successful, she'll give him "incentive." Grady goes to get lunch at Company but Buzz orders him to get out. Meanwhile, Dinah parks on the street illegally. She sticks an old crumpled ticket on her windshield and heads out. Daisy walks into Company with Alan and quietly tells Buzz that Alan is acting strange. Buzz assures her he will take care of Alan.

Outside, Daisy asks Grady to leave because she is working and he will blow her cover. He doesn't budge. He proudly tells her that he almost hooked up with another girl but couldn't because he was thinking of her. Daisy, upset, exits.

Meanwhile, Buzz is with Alan and points out that Alan can start over and do things differently this time. Lizzie and Bill walk in. Alan gets up too quickly and collapses. Back at the hospital, Alan assures Lizzie he will do what it takes to get better. Lizzie informs Bill that she has decided that Alan is going to live with them.

Marina preps Daisy for her stakeout. Marina criticizes Daisy's provocative
outfit. Mallet enters and disapproves of Daisy's outfit too. Daisy, frustrated,
tells Marina she can handle the stakeout alone. Daisy also says that Marina should thank her for getting Mallet to admit he loves her. Mallet and Marina avoid eye contact and want to change the subject. Marina explains that stakeouts are cool but half the time you have to do research at your desk. Daisy assures Marina that she's okay. Outside, Mallet hears commotion and comes face-to-face with Dinah and the cop. Back at the station, Marina enters and tells Mallet that Daisy survived her first stakeout. Mallet tells Marina that Vanessa bailed Dinah out.
