GUIDING LIGHT

In the prison visiting room, Natalia and Rafe meet with a public defender,
Cameron. He informs them that Rafe can go to trial or take a deal for two years in jail. Cameron tries to convince Natalia that jail time is the lesser of evils, compared to a trial. Natalia shows Cameron Rafe's bruises and believes they have other options. She decides to get back the best lawyer for Rafe.

At Company, Lillian waits for Buzz to take her on their lunch date. Olivia
enters and states that she is done trying to help Natalia. Across the room,
Billy advises Bill about his relationship with Lizzie. Bill says he only needs
Lizzie for the deal with Decker. Vanessa, meanwhile, is worried that Bill will blow his chance at love with Lizzie just to prove a point to stockholders. Lillian notices Olivia put her hand to her chest when she feels her heart tightening. Olivia covers. Buzz tells Olivia he's concerned for Natalia and Rafe. Olivia thinks Rafe should take the plea bargain. Natalia asks Olivia to get Russo back for her. Olivia tries to convince her otherwise but Natalia is determined. Buzz, unnoticed by the women, overhears and sneaks out. Buzz, now at the prison, is concerned about Rafe's condition. Buzz warns Rafe that Natalia might put herself in jeopardy to help him. Buzz advises that Rafe keep his mom in mind when he makes the tough choices ahead. Rafe is moved when Buzz informs
him that Daisy started the youth crime force to move up his hearing. Back at Company, Olivia refuses to give Natalia Russo's number. Natalia leaves but her car has broken down. Buzz, on his way out, offers to give Natalia a ride home since her car died. Later, Buzz tells Olivia that Natalia and Rafe need her. Olivia explains that she's tried to help several times and can't do anything more. In the visiting room, Natalia admits she couldn't get the best lawyer for Rafe. Rafe sees how hard she is trying to hold it together and decides he is going to take the deal. He wants her to stop trying to fix his life and start living hers again. Natalia, heartbroken, agrees to his deal.

Lillian has faith that Alan will be back to his old self before they know it. Alan doesn't want to stay in the house if they keep treating him like an invalid. Lizzie wants him there because the family needs him. Bill enters, reminds Lizzie they have a meeting with Decker. When Alan leaves, Lizzie tells Bill she is worried about Alan and hasn't had time to prepare for Decker. Bill tells her they will be fine. Decker enters. Decker and Bill discuss plans for the Macau complex. Bill blocks Lizzie from participating. Suddenly Alan wheels himself in and confidently shakes Decker's hand. Alan immediately takes over the meeting. Bill, now edged out, hates it. When Decker exits, Lizzie and Alan embrace enthusiastically. Bill is envious of their closeness. Alan tells Lizzie he has put Bill in his place but she can handle Decker.

At Towers, Billy tells Vanessa she will always be the light of his life. Vanessa knows Bill loves Lizzie and doesn't want Bill to give up on having a family of his own.
