Lobel, Havlicek Among Honorees At The Tradition

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Bob Lobel, John Havlicek, Cam Neely, and Irving Fryar headline at big event at the TD Banknorth Garden Tuesday night.
 
All will be honored at the Tradition ceremony, the New England Sports Museum's seventh annual Hall of Fame event.

Havlicek, the Hall of Fame guard-forward with the Celtics, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his contributions on and off the court. The award will be presented by legendary college coach Bobby Knight. Knight and Havlicek played college basketball together at Ohio State.

Legacy Awards will also be presented to several others, including former Bruin great Cam Neely, former Patriots wide receiver Irving Fryar and former WBZ sports anchor Bob Lobel.
