Select Red Sox Tickets On Sale Saturday
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
Red Sox fans get their first shot at tickets for the 2008 season on Saturday. Tickets for 18 individual games as well as ticket packages will be for sale starting at 10 a.m. Sales are via telephone and internet only. They will not be available at the Red Sox box office because of ongoing construction.
Single game tickets will be available at RedSox.com or by calling 617.482.4SOX for the following games:
April 9-10 vs. Detroit Tigers;
A pril 18-20 vs. Texas Rangers;
April 22-24 vs. Los Angeles Angels;
April 29-30 and May 1 vs. Toronto Blue Jays;
May 2-4 vs. Tampa Bay Rays;
May 19-22 vs. Kansas City Royals
Nine different Sox Pax will be available; each pack includes a ticket to four pre-determined games. Among those games available in Sox Pax are Opening Day against the Tigers, selected Yankees games, some inter-league games against the Cardinals, Brewers and Diamondbacks, as well as assorted weekend games. Sox Pax will be available for sale online at RedSox.com.
Fans may purchase up to eight single-game tickets and up to two Sox Pax.
Most remaining single-game tickets, including all Green Monster and Right Field Roof Deck tickets, will go on sale in late January or early February.
If you want to buy season tickets, join the crowd. The Red Sox say their current waiting list for season tickets is about 7,500 names long. To add your name to the list, call 877.REDSOX9.
