Details Released On Bruins Winter Classic Tickets
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
If you're looking for tickets to the Bruins Winter Classic game against the Flyers at Fenway Park, be prepared to wait.
The NHL announced Monday that ticket prices for the January 1 game will range from $50 to $350.
But, you can't buy them right away.
A random ticket drawing will be held in October.
Registration for that begins Tuesday, September 15th at
nhl.com/winterclassic at noon and runs until noon on Monday, October 5th.
If you're selected, you'll be notified by October 20th and you'll get the chance to buy one pair of tickets.
Bruins season ticket holders will be notified by the team later this month about their opportunity to purchase tickets.
The Bruins Foundation will also make a certain allotment of tickets available for local youth hockey groups later this year.
The annual Winter Classic New Year's Day game has been a huge hit for the NHL.
There were more than 240,000 ticket requests for last season's game at Wrigley Field between the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings.
