Celts Win Benefits Women's Lunch Place

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Gov. Deval Patrick collected on his NBA Finals bet with California Gov. Arnold Schwartzenegger -- but the big winner was the Women's Lunch Place.

On Friday morning, the governor delivered the winnings – California-grown oranges, cheeses, raisins and freshly cut flowers -- to the Newbury Street facility, which provides daytime shelter, meals and other services to the city's homeless women and their children.

Patrick won the bet last month when the Boston Celtics defeated the Los Angeles Lakers to claim the NBA championship..
