New Celtics Plate To Be Unveiled

WATERTOWN (WBZ) ― A new Boston Celtics license plate, to benefit Children's Hospital Boston, will be unveiled Tuesday at the Registry of Motor Vehicles' Watertown office.

Fans who sign up for the plates can have their pictures taken with Celtics forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis and with the Larry O'Brien Trophy, awarded to the NBA champion Celtics last month.

Davis and the trophy will be at the Registry office in the Watertown Mall on Arsenal Street from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The plates will become available once 1,500 drivers have applied for them.

Children's Hospital Boston is a focus partner of the Shamrock Foundation, the Celtics' charitable arm. For more information on the plates and the Shamrock Foundation, go to www.celtics.com.
