Doc Rivers Auctions Off Gatorade-Stained Shirt

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Celtics head coach Doc Rivers is auctioning off the shirt he wore during Game 6 of the NBA Finals that is now covered in Gatorade.

The announcement was made during WEEI's Dennis and Callahan Show on Thursday. Bidders have the chance to win the shirt, signed by Rivers and Paul Pierce, and the Gatorade bucket Pierce used to dump sport drink all over Rivers.

The money raised will benefit the Celtics' Shamrock Foundation – an organization that reaches out to kids in the community.

Rivers said the company that makes his clothes wanted the shirt. "The guys who make my clothes, they called me and wanted it and I said 'No we're going to auction it off.'"

To place a bid, e-mail the Dennis and Callahan Show. The auction will last through the weekend.
