The Celtics are close to signing forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis.

Two NBA sources confirmed to WBZ's Dan Roche that Davis will sign a two-year deal sometime next week.

In his second season with the Celtics, Davis averaged 7 points per game during the regular season. During the playoffs, he averaged 15.8 points per game filling in the for injured Kevin Garnett.
