The Celtics are making their move to boost the roster before next season.
General manager Danny Ainge, owner Wyc Grousbeck, head coach Doc Rivers and the big three Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen - all travelled to Michigan Thursday to meet with free agent forward Rasheed Wallace.
There are several reports that the C's have already made Wallace a two-year-offer.
But Wallace, who has won a title with the Detroit Pistons, is reportedly in no rush to make a decision just yet.
