He's one of the Celtics biggest cheerleaders on the sidelines. Now 9-year-old Jaelen House is a reality TV star.
Jaelen's dad is none other than
Celtics guard Eddie House. His new show calledÂ
"My Dad's a Pro" airs on Cartoon Network. It's a series of mini-episodes featuring a day in the life of this anything-but-average kid.
"People are always asking me what its like to be the son of a pro basketball star," Jaelen said in episode one. "Well
it's pretty cool!"
The first episode, which debuted on November 4, showed Jaelen trying to wake up his soundly-sleeping dad, giving Dad pointers during practice, showing off some of his own fancy moves, and going crazy on the court after a Celtics' win.
Jaelen House is a Celtics ball boy, which means he's on the court during warm-ups and courtside during home games.
"The best part of my job is being there to high-five all the players as they enter the court," he tells viewers.
Jaelen's mom, Charlsie, and younger twin brothers Kaden and Kalek also appear in the series, which is narrated by Jaelen himself.
The series is part of a partnership between the NBA and Cartoon Network. It airs Wednesday's at 7:55 p.m.
