Manny Ramirez is no longer a Red Sox. He was traded to the Dodgers in a blockbuster three-team deal. In exchange, Boston has acquired Jason Bay from the Pittsburg Pirates.

So who is Jason Bay?
Bay is a 29-year-old native from Canada. This season, the left-fielder is hitting .282 with 22 home runs and has 64 RBIs. These numbers are similar to Manny's 2008 season stats. Manny is hitting .299 with 20 home runs and 68 RBIs.
In 2007, Bay was named to the NL All-Star team.
Since his major league debut in 2003, Bay has hit 140 homeruns and 454 RBIs.
Bay has been with the Pirates since 2004.
Bay also has a local connection. In 1999, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
