The New England Patriots have added a long snapper and defensive lineman in the sixth round of the NFL draft.
New England took long snapper Jake Ingram of Hawaii with the 198th overall pick. Ingram should replace the departed Lonnie Paxton. At No. 207, the Pats chose Myron Pryor, a 6-1, 307-pound defensive lineman from Kentucky.
Earlier Sunday, the Patriots drafted North Carolina receiver Brandon Tate and linebacker Tyrone McKenzie from South Florida, both in the third round. They added offensive lineman Rich Ohrnberger of Penn State in the fourth round and Louisville lineman George Bussey in the fifth round.
New England also traded veteran cornerback Ellis Hobbs to Philadelphia for two fifth-round draft picks.
