Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had a record-breaking game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. His performance earned him the recognition of being named AFC Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL.
Brady completed 29 of 34 pass attempts for 380 yards and
six touchdowns against Tennessee. He threw five touchdown passes in the second quarter alone, which is the highest number in a single quarter in NFL history.
It's the second time in 2009, and the 14th time in his career, that Tom Brady has earned the ACF Player of the Week honor. Against Tennessee, Brady directed a New England offense that set a franchise record for total yards (619) and points scored (59).
