Patriots Arrive In AZ; Brady Talks About Injury

PHOENIX (WBZ) ― The New England Patriots arrived at their team hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona Sunday evening to a rush of media and devoted fans, who waited in the pouring rain to catch a glimpse of their beloved team.

A stretch limo followed by three buses pulled into the Westin around 6 p.m. The team filed into the hotel and a few of the players prepared to greet the media under a massive tent set up just outside.

One of those players was star quarterback Tom Brady, who says he's feeling good and plans to play in the Super Bowl next week. "I'm not concerned about how it's going to affect my play," he said. "This won't keep me out."

Brady reportedly has a minor right ankle sprain and was spotted in New York earlier this week wearing a protective boot on his right foot. The star QB talked on Sunday about when the injury occurred. "It was in the San Diego game (last Sunday), I think in the third quarter."

Earlier Sunday, the Patriots held an hour-long rally at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Several players, including Brady, spoke to the massive crowd.

Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour told fans he is looking forward to being greeted by another big crowd when the team returns from the Super Bowl.
