Schillings Put Medfield Mansion Up For Sale

MEDFIELD, Mass. (WBZ) ― Curt and Shonda Schilling are testing the real estate market.

They're putting their Medfield mansion up for sale - for just $8 million.

(Read the listing here.)

The Schillings bought the home from former Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe for $4.5 million in 2003.

The 20-room Colonial sits on 25 acres. It's three-stories high and covers 11,000 square feet.

The mansion has 20 rooms, a home theater, batting cage, an all-sports court, and a swimming pool.

Curt Schilling is currently on the 60-day disabled list and plans on retiring after this season.

"It's a fabulous house but it's not the house we want to live in for the rest of our lives," Shonda Schilling told the Boston Herald last year.

"I'd really like to be in a neighborhood for the kids. And we know it's not going to sell in a week so we thought we'd put it on the market now and see what happens."
