Pedroia Earns Gold Glove Award

Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia has won his first
Gold Glove.
The Gold Glove is awarded every year to some of the game's greatest defensive players.
Pedroia had a .326 batting average, scored 17 homeruns, had 83 RBIs and 20 stolen bases for the 2008 season.
In the few season's Pedoia has been in the Big Leagues, he has won a World Series, was named MLB's Rookie of the Year in 2007 and is also a top candidate for the 2008 American League MVP an award that comes out on November 18.
Other current Red Sox players to earn the Gold Glove honor are Mike Lowell, Kevin Youkilis and Jason Varitek.
