New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was on the practice field in Phoenix Monday, getting ready for Sunday's Super Bowl against the New York Giants.
Brady had been absent from the last couple practices after he sported a cast on his right foot in New York earlier last week.
On Sunday, Brady, who says he's feeling good and plans to play in the Super Bowl next week, said, "I'm not concerned about how it's going to affect my play. This won't keep me out."
Brady reportedly has a minor right ankle sprain and was spotted in New York earlier this week wearing a protective boot on his right foot. The star QB talked on Sunday about when the injury occurred. "It was in the San Diego game (last Sunday), I think in the third quarter."
WBZ reports that Brady did practice Monday with a taped ankle.
Earlier Sunday, the Patriots held an hour-long rally at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Several players, including Brady, spoke to the massive crowd.
Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour told fans he is looking forward to being greeted by another big crowd when the team returns from the Super Bowl.
