(WBZ) Today we focus one of the best parts of this show….with a special celebration of some of the best music of Sunday.

We've asked some of the people who work here at WBZ to pick their favorite Sunday performances for you.

Our first choice comes from the face of WBZ, television news veteran Jack Williams.

MUSICAL GUESTS INCLUDE:

RONAN TYNAN introduced by Jack Williams

BRANDI CARLILE -introduced by Yancey Banks

BEN TAYLOR --introduced by Drue Rowean

SONYA KICHELL introduced by BZ radio's Carl Stevens

CELTIC WOMAN introduced by Ann Scalcione

JUST THINKING
I walk by a house in my neighborhood where someone is always practicing scales on the piano. I imagine that it is a child who is not the most gifted artist. She may at this point not even want to be there. I know I never did. Yet those wrong notes and erratic measures are probably a beautiful melody to some mothers ears. While the child broods over the keys, The mother dreams of great halls and resounding applause for performances well done. There is a lot music does for us. It expresses the unexpressable, soothes the mind and heals the heart. But as far as Im concerned, the best music is never really about the moment. It always holds a hidden promise of things yet to come.

My favorite Sunday music is anything sung by Ray Green.
