Heat

(WBZ) Today our show is about heat! It's many forms, many meanings and many incarnations.

Joe Kennedy:
We begin with a warning about heating our homes this winter. Its going to cost us more.
How bad will it get? We asked a man whose business is about energy, Head of Citizens Energy, Joe Kennedy.

For more information on where you can find the help you may need this winter, call the Massachusetts Heat Hotline at

What's hot in home entertainment?
With the holidays quickly approaching, we wanted to find out what to do to impress our house guests, that can be stylish and not expensive. Robin Arvedon from Homegoods joins us with
a table full of great stuff.

Hell Night- The East Coast Grill in Cambridge is a favorite place for diners who like their food with a little kick. But now owner Chris Schlesinger has taken spicy to a new level with special nights devoted to cooking up their most fiery foods. It's Sunday's personal personal invitation to what they call HELL NIGHT.

Hot Ticket: If you're interested in a hot ticket in Boston area entertainment, we suggest comedian Tommy Morin. He is not only a comic, but a one man show that includes the meaningful story of his life.

JUST THINKING:
I was reading a recent article touting the near perfect game of the Red Sox. You don't have to be an avid sports fan to realize there are the best of the times, and even a preacher knows that baseball is the most popular religion around, but what caught my attention was the description near perfect, because even during this heady season, our favorite team has limitations…,
When all is said and done, there is really no perfect team and no perfect game, one inning your performance is great, and the next you're feeling the heat. It's a game that is always only a few errors away from stale beer and heartache. I love the notion of errors in baseball. There's really nothing quite like them in other sports. As complicated as the rules about errors can be, they don't necessarily get you thrown out of the game nor do they prevent you from winning That's a lot like life. We make mistakes, but it doesn't mean its over. We are the sum total of all our experiences, not just the victories. The problems come when we refuse to admit the mistakes, or don't take the time to learn from them. Errors then are simply a part of the game, once you learn that, you've moved from taking the heat to seeing the light.

Sunday is proud to present the Amelia Piano Trio.
