Treats

(WBZ) TREATS
Today, in celebration of season, a few holiday treats for you.

Fun with LENNY
We begin with one of our favorite funnymen, Boston's own Lenny Clarke. We have never been with Lenny Clarke when he didn't make us laugh, but this time Lenny takes us on a tour of his favorite places in the neighborhood where he grew up, and where he got his first job.

The Wahlberg that Really Cooks
Every body knows how gifted actors Donny and Mark Wahlberg are. Whether it's the big screen or television, both are tremendously talented. Did you know there is another talented Wahlberg? Older brother Paul is an executive chef on the north shore, and considered to be among Boston's best. We head into his kitchen.

Cam Neely-
What's new with the Boston sports legend? Talking to Cam is a treat in itself.

JUST THINKING
This is what I saw. The small car, like all the others parked on the hill is positioned in a precarious angle, its front jammed under the snowmound, while the rear end sticks up and out… the wheels barely on the ground. The driver, a beefy young man is frantically shoveling out, late for something. He gets behind the wheel and guns the engine. The little car lunges into reverse, banging right into the car behind it….a late model suv. That driver whose also pretty big is in the midst of his own shoveling…I can't see if there is damage, but this could turn ugly. I've seen it happen before.

There's a lot that can make us angry these days, the war in iraq, the shrinking dollar bill, relentless bad news, bad weather and bad driving…ice and snow make for a lot of bad driving.

As the two men approach each other, the air crackles with electricity. Will one throw a punch? Can the other jab? Who strikes the first blow?

And that's when it happens. The first guy looks the other straight in the eye and says "Sorry, any damage?" The second driver responds, "no damage…lucky break." The first guy then grabs his shovel, and there they are working together making sure both cars are free… a sigh of relief all the way around. I guess each storm, like the season, comes bearing gifts of its own.
