Man Beaten With His Own Artificial Leg

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) ― Stockton police say a 66-year-old man was hit over the head with his own artificial leg during a robbery.

They say the victim's fake leg fell off as he kicked at his three attackers.

One of the attackers then hit him with the leg Wednesday night.
 
The robbers left after stealing a purse from the man's 62-year-old companion.

Neither victim was identified by police.
