'Carrotmob' A New Way To Fight Global Warming

Group Hopes To Encourage Awareness Through Shopping Bursts

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) ― A different kind of approach in the fight against global warming is growing in popularity. Called "Carrotmob," it starts off with people coming together to clean out a store.

People gather at a business, buying everything in sight so the owner will have enough money to lower their carbon footprint. Carrotmob is the brainchild of San Franciscan Brent Schulkin.
