Actor Morgan Freeman Leaves Hospital
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) ―
Morgan Freeman is out of the hospital.
The actor had been there since a car crash Sunday night in Mississippi, in which he suffered broken bones and other injuries.
A spokeswoman for the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, says Freeman was discharged today.
Also injured in the crash was a Memphis woman, Demaris Meyer, who was a passenger in the car Freeman was driving.
Today, a Memphis newspaper (the Commercial Appeal) quotes Freeman's lawyer as saying a divorce action is pending for the 71-year-old Oscar winner and his wife of 24 years.
