Moose Takes A Dip In Leominster Pool, Roams City
LEOMINSTER (WBZ) ―
A large moose roaming the streets of Leominster did what anyone would do on a humid day. He took a dip in someone's pool to cool off.
Lt. Michael Goldman told theĀ
Worcester Telegram and Gazette that the 500-pound moose, nicknamed 'Bullwinkle', has been spotted by several residents in the city. He believes the moose took a swim in a pool on Iliad Street.
The paper reports the moose wandered along several streets in Leominster, and even walked across some athletic fields.
Environmental police told Leominster officers not to spook the animal too much, fearing he might run into the road.
'Bullwinkle' eventually disappeared in the woods, but Lt. Goldman believes they'll see him again.
